Faq
Q I cant dance.
A You don't need to this is an fitness/aerobics class. Each week you will be taught a few new steps. No jumping into the deep end here.
Q So is this a dance or an aerobics class?
A Its a bit of both but mainly a fun fitness class. Although the moves you will be doing are all from salsa the different speeds in the music is where the aerobics element comes from.
Q Have you got to be fit to do it?.
A You can take things at your own pace, as the weeks go on and the steps become more of a challenge there are alternatives if you don't feel up to the new ones. As for your fitness levels this can only help. It will tone and tighten in all the right places and you can burn up 400 calories per class.
Q So is it for men or women?
A Both. We all need a little fun and fitness in our lives. Men, the ladies like a man who can move well.
Q What should i wear?
A Comfy gym type clothes. Nothing to heavy as you will be getting hot. Jazz shoes are the best option but trainers even socks will do. A towel and bottle of water are a must.
Q I have not done salsa or aerobics before.
A Not to worry, when you join one of our beginners classes we take things right back to basics.
Q Is this a course?
A Sort of. The beginners classes do run for 8 weeks or so. From then on more intermediate moves will be introduced but only 1 or 2 per class for up to 20 weeks. Then if numbers are still good we will dance the hour away each week. With the odd new step here and there.
Q What is the age range of people who attend?
A From 10 to 60 plus. Under 16s can attend but only with a responsible adult, who is over 18.
Q Will i need to book?
A Not at all, just turn up.
Q Is there anything else i will need?
A A sense of humour is definitely recommended.
